Gregory Guyton Obituary
Mr. Gregory L. Guyton was born in Anderson, South Carolina on June 21, 1958. He passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Gregory was a United States Army Veteran. He worked for Pickens Construction Company for a number of years.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Deloris Guyton; three sons, Demetrious Tillison, Alrico Tillison, and Quincy Brown; two grandchildren, Brooklyn Tillison and Kelinna Tillison; two brothers, Thomas Calhoun Dawson and James Guyton; five sisters-in-law, Dessie Crawford, Shirley Edwards, Dorothy McAlister, Lena Tillison, and Carolyn Tillison; four brothers-in-law, Lonnie Prater, Lee Tillison, Harry Edwards, and Norris Crawford; six nieces, Earline Estrich, Tiffany Estrich, Nicole Jones, Kayla Moore, Marshanda Paschal, and Veronica Tillison; and a host of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mamie Lee Guyton Dawson and Thomas Calhoun Dawson and three sisters, Ethel Lee Martin, Cynthia Mosley, and Nacey Gilchrist; and one brother, Gerald Dawson.
Military honors will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
The family is at the home, 204 E. Street, Anderson, SC 29625.
