George Elam Obituary
Mr. George Elam, 65, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.
George worked for Carolina Beer Company for 27 years before his health declined.
He is survived by his sister, Karen Elam; brother, Kenneth Elam; and a host of relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Codney and Lee Eunice Lesley Elam and four brothers, Colie Elam, Garlend Elam, Jr., Joe Elam, and Stanley Elam.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. Public viewing will be held Wednesday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of his sister, Karen Elam, 341 E. Roosevelt Drive, Anderson, SC.
