Freddie Moss was born on January 15, 1942, to Odell and Lurene Moss in Anderson, SC. Freddie transitioned home on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 and is now at rest.
Freddie was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas.
Freddie is survived by his wife, Nancy Moss; sister, Frances Moss; brother, Odell “Sam” Moss; sons and daughters, Renee Brewer, Freddie Moss Jr., Eddie Moss, Sharai Lavoie, and Felica Morgan. He also leaves grandchildren, Shanae Dye, James Russell Dye Jr, Ru-ricus Dye, Dwi-shawndrick Brewer, LaToya Moss, Zackhary Moss, Ayona Staley, Jaqueese Moss, JaKeyso Moss, Gabriel Galloway, Eddie Moss Jr., Ethan Lavoie, Chase Morgan, and Channing Morgan; and a host of great-grandchildren.
The service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, 2024 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. Public viewing Saturday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
