Eula Mae Scott

Eula Mae Scott, age 99, transitioned from this earthly life on August 27, 2022 at 11:47 pm at AnMed Health Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Emma and Peter Henry Scott.

Eula was a member of Flat Rock A.M.E. Church, which she attended until her health declined. She then attended Liberty Baptist Church which was close to her residence. During her early years as a young mother, she was employed as a Housekeeper in New York. When she returned to S.C she was employed at Park Davis until she retired.

Eula was a sweet, funny, loveable lady who was loved by many. She was a strong-willed determined, independent lady who fought even through her last days. Eula loved the Lord and she loved her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Emma and Peter Scott; sister, Georgana Gray; brothers, James Scott and John Lewis Scott; son, Bobby Scott; and daughter, Johnnie Mae Scott.

Eula Mae leaves a large family to cherish her fond memories: her son, Howard (Sylvene) Scott; fifteen grandchildren; a host of great, great-great, great-great-great grandkids; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and caregivers. She lived to see six generations.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Flat Rock A.M.E. Church.  The interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Public viewing will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of her granddaughter, Michelle Scott, 549 George Alewine Rd., Due West, SC 29639.
