Edward De'Jon Bryson was born in Asheville, NC to Stacie Bryson Galloway and the late Edward Freeman. Edward was raised in Sylva, NC, and later moved to South Carolina. Edward graduated from Pendleton High School and was a member of New Holly Light Missionary Baptist Church.
Edward loved to sing and play the drums. He played the drums for different groups and churches.
Left to cherish his memory; his mother, Stacie Galloway; three sisters, Tonya Bryson Thormose (Christian), Kita Coward (Dushon), and Mary Fowler (Sherman); nephew, Catliin Coward; niece, Carlita Lewis; great nephew, Karson; great niece, Caliah Coward; an aunt, Opal Mason (Charles), and one uncle, Buford Bryson(Joan), and a host of cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank Hospice of the Upstate for the care given to Edward, Gwen Rice who was our guardian angel, Dr. Curtis Hill and the New Holly Light Church Family for your prayers, and our many friends for all the acts of kindness extended to us during our time of bereavement.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at New Holly Light Missionary Baptist Church. Public viewing Friday from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
