Dorothy Baskin Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Patterson Baskin, 79, of 501 Corning Street in Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020 in Anderson, SC.
Dorothy Ophelia Baskin retired from Anderson School District V. She was a long-standing member of Generostee Baptist Church in Starr, SC.
She is survived by her three daughters, Josie Baskin, Sheryl Sweat, and Lela Baskin Draper; five sons, William Patterson, Cedric (Lesia) Patterson, Ronald Baskin, Donald Baskin, and Tony Baskin; reared in the home, Rita Moore, Ricky Patterson, and Michelle Edwards; 20 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren; one brother, Steven Redcross; and a host of other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Baskin; parents, Hettie Keese and Jessie C. Patterson; and two sisters, Mildred Groves and Annie Lois Edwards.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Generostee Baptist Church Cemetery.
