David B. Johnson

Mr. David B. Johnson, 84, of 215 Leawood Ave. in Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Rainey Hospice House.  David retired in 1998 from Pickens Roofing Company.

He is survived by his children, Brenda Johnson, David Stanley (Brandi) Johnson, Deborah  (Raymond) Maddix, David Michael (Latasha M.) Johnson, and Jaquyae Taluntez Jones; two sisters, Genobia Hardy and Dora Whitner; thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen F. Johnson; parents, Roberta Walker and Zeddie Johnson; nine siblings, Joseph Cephus Johnson, Margie Paschal, Josephine Gilliard, Izonia Mae Mark, Mae Frances Hunter, Rosella Scotland, Sara Johnson, Roosevelt Johnson, and Cecil Corner.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the funeral home.  Lawn-chairs and masks/facial coverings are welcomed. The interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.  Public viewing Friday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
