Daisy loved to sing gospel music. She started out singing with her family, The Johnson Family. She also sang with many gospel groups around Anderson County. For many years Daisy and her sister Bobbie Jean sang with The United Gospelettes. Later they formed the group, The Spiritual Voices. Daisy sang with them for 34 years until her health declined. She also sang with the Piney Grove Gospel Choir and the Olivet Progressive Choir.
Daisy loved spending time with her family at cookouts, family reunions, birthday gatherings or whatever the occasion she just loved talking junk and just having fun. She retired from Clark – Schwebel Fiberglass after many years of dedicated service. After retiring Daisy started back working as a patient sitter, a job she was very passionate about.
