Curtis Curry Jr., 46, of Clemson, South Carolina, passed away on April 28, 2026. He was born on February 6, 1980, in Anderson, South Carolina, to Curtis Sr. and Ada Azalee Bell Curry.
Curtis was a proud graduate of Daniel High School, Class of 1998. He went on to work in manufacturing, where he built a reputation as a dedicated and hardworking employee. Beyond his work, Curtis was known for his warm spirit and his ability to connect with anyone he met—he truly never met a stranger.
A devoted family man, Curtis deeply enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. He was a passionate Dallas Cowboys football fan and could often be found cheering on his team. Those who knew him best will remember his quick smile, his sense of humor, and his natural gift for brightening the day of those around him. He had a way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and valued, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Valerie Mobley-Curry; step-daughter, Destaynie Rogers; step-sons, Hykeem Rogers and Parrish Bruce; grandsons, Brayden and Braxton Hill; god-daughter, Ryliegh Skinner. He is also survived by his parents, Curtis Sr. and Ada Azalee Bell Curry; grandmother, Min. Julia Mae Bell; sisters, Juliette (Chris) Bennett, Chrystal Curry, and Shalanda Webb; brother, Alexander Curry; god-sister, Jerrica Gamble; aunts, Alexandria Bell, Adrian (Kelvin) Lewis, Andrea (Victor) Earle, Norma Jean (George) Randolph, Mary (Daniel) Goldsmith, and Bobby Jean (Greg) Reid; uncle, Paul (Barbara) Curry; great-aunts, Stacey (David) Walters, Macy Wrenn, and Marie Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alexander Bell and Terreather and Lois Curry
