Cormyus Dennis Obituary
Mr. Cormyus Kyree Dennis, 20, of Anderson, SC departed his life on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Cormyus was a 2020 graduate of Westside High School.
He is survived by his mother, LaRhonda Gaines (Red) and his father, Corey Dennis (Aquessa) all of Anderson, SC; one sister, Jasmine Gaines; one brother, Quindarious Dennis (Breanna); three step-brothers, James Groves, Jr., Jaquavious Groves, and Javuan Patterson; four special nieces that loved him so much, Kaylee, Kynzie, Valiyah, Sanovia; his grandmothers, Marie Smith and Jeanette Whitfield; a very special friend, Malasia Brownlee; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by four grandfathers, Alfonzo Jones, Alphonso Smith, Larry Dingle, and James Rainey.
Public viewing will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2022 at King David Baptist Church. The interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
