Cora Lee (Greenlee) Anderson

Ms. Cora L. Anderson was born July 31, 1942 to the late George Albert and Mary Magdalene Greenlee.  She took her rest on February 21, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.

Cora was a loving mother, grandmother and a devoted Jehovah's Witness. She retired from Glen Raven after many years of service.

She will be missed by all who knew her. She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Diane Williams, Spring Williams and Shannon Tucker all of Anderson, SC; two sons, Gerald Williams of Salem, OR and Kevin Williams of Anderson, SC; a grandson reared in the home, TJ Epps; two brothers, Kenneth Greenlee (Gloria) and Larry Greenlee both of Anderson, SC; two sisters, Betty Greenlee of Anderson, SC and Harriet Greenlee Johnson (Christopher) of Greenville, SC; twenty-four grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two daughters, Candy D. Williams and Loretta Stowers; four brothers, Billy Greenlee, George Albert Greenlee, Jr., Don Greenlee, and Claude Greenlee; and one sister, Shirley Heatherly.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on E. Calhoun Street in Anderson, SC.  The family will receive friends on Friday, March 1, 2024 at the funeral home from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and at the home of her son, Kevin Williams (14 Rivanna Drive, Anderson, SC) from 4:30 until 8:30 p.m.
