Clara Terry Obituary
Mrs. Clara B. Studgon Terry was born in Hartwell, GA on June 10, 1938 to Willie J. and Nora Blackwell Studgon. She passed away at the age of 87 on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.
Clara was a member of Wilson Calvary Baptist Church. She retired from Anderson County School District Five.
She is survived by her daughters, Sara L. Crosby, Judy Curry, and Brenda Mattison; sons, Columbus and Clarence Curry; a grandson reared in the home, Terrell Crosby; loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Terry; son, Johnny Curry; sisters, Minnie Spivey, Louise Thorne, Florence Lee, Sallie Eva Bell, and Katherine Studgon; and one brother, Johnny White.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Anderson Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be held Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
