Christina Tawana Crawford

Christina Tawana Crawford  passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025 at the age of 48 in Piedmont (Greenville County), South Carolina. She  was born on December 27, 1976 in Abbeville, South Carolina to Delores Airline and Wayne Crawford .

Christina attended Abbeville High School in Abbeville, South Carolina.  After high school, joined the United States Job Corp.

Christina was raised under the Christian faith.  Christine, as she was called, lived her life free from care, enjoying each day as it came finding friends along the way.

Christine was raised by her grandparents, Mckinley and Eunebell Crawford and she was assisted in life by her mother figure, Patrica Bailey.

She is survived by her mother, Delores Airline; two sisters, Bonnie "Rabbit" Martin and Teresa Tucker; one brother, Joshua Airline, Sr ; her children, Shawanda Nicole Turnage (Babatunde L. S. Turnage), Tyshiem Isiah Norman III (Nakeitha Spence), Lisa Katina "Nicole" Rice (Shalamar Sharif Rice); grandchildren, Leilani Turnage, Malanah Turnage, Isiah Jkharii Norman, Dream Nylanii Dior Norman, Nova Puller (Teresa), Jalisha Tucker, Tkeyah Tucker, Alexis Dean, Myrisha Dean (Bonnie), Odarius Tillman, Kameron Airline,  Joshua Airline Jr., Monterrius Martin, Trae Black, Delachi Airline, and Arianna Kemp; and a host of other close relatives.

She was preceded in death by her loving Father Wayne Crawford.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!  II Corinthians 5:8 

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Abbeville Civic Center (404 N. Main Street, Abbeville, SC).
