We gather today to celebrate the life of our sweet baby boy, Christian Elijah Dixon. Christian was born on January 4, 2017 in Greenville, SC to Varneshia Carson and Demetrius Dixon. He gained his wings on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Christian was one of the sweetest souls. We are so thankful we got to be his parents for eight amazing years. We never met anybody who was so loving, caring, smart, and amazing. He enjoyed the simplest thing in life like sitting in his chair playing toss and catch with his favorite ball. If he wasn't watching his favorite television shows (Gracie's Corner, Scobby Doo, Bluey or Cocomelon, he would be outside and watch cars ride by. He also loved to dance and he always had a smile on his face.
Christian leaves to cherish his loving memory to his parents; sisters, Zaniyah Dixon and Akeria Dixon; brother, Xavier Dixon; grandparents, Ernest Harris and Patricia Dixon; aunts, Nykia Jones, Jasmine Dixion, Zaquilla Jones, and Anthonia Leverette; and one uncle, Ernest Dixon. He also leaves to cherish his memory, a great-grandma, great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and other close family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Linda and Christopher Jones; great-grandparents, Harold Gaines, Willie Jones, Virginia Trenton; Maydell Dixon, and Bobby Dixon; great uncles, Gary Gaines, Harold Lee Gaines, Jr., and Larry Dixon; and many other relatives.
Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take.
Mommy loves you and will miss you dearly...
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025 at Anderson Memorial Gardens. Public viewing on Thursday from 2:00 until 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
