Mr. Bobby Lee Willingham was born in Abbeville County on May 27, 1958. He departed this life on April 3, 2025.
He will be dearly missed by his daughters, Gwentonya Groves (Idris) and Bonita Willingham; sons, Eric Thompson, Jamar Willingham, and Jarvis Goss; step-daughter, Lacey Groves; two sisters, Joann Willingham and Rita Mae Hull; seven brothers, Kenny Lee Willingham, Mashawn Willingham, Terry Willingham, Andrew Willingham, Raymond Hull, Hubert Hill, and Artis Cornelius Hull, Jr.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frances S. Willingham and Artis Cornelius Hull, Sr.; one son, Travis Groves; two sisters, Martha Willingham and Frances Diane Willingham; and three brothers, Mac "Jimmy" Willingham, James "Bear" Willingham, and Douglas "Dilly" Hull.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. Public viewing will be held Wednesday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
