Betty Chapman Obituary

Mrs. Betty Chapman earned her wings on February 27, 2021 after a brief illness.

She was born on June 27, 1934 in Antreville, South Carolina to the late Roy and Toreatha Glover Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Chapman.

She was educated in the public schools in South Carolina, and thereafter, relocated to the Washington, D.C. area. Her lifelong career was working for the federal government for over 30 years, until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Williams and Thomas Williams. She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Gabrielle Chapman of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; one sister, Alice Donaldson of Antreville, South Carolina; and a host of loving family members and friends.
