A life well lived...
Bernice V. McAdams was born on April 30, 1936 in Starr, South Carolina to Mr. Roger and Mrs. Fannie S. McAdams. She passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at National Healthcare of Anderson.
Bernice worked for the New York Telephone Company until she retired in 1998. After she retired, she moved back to Anderson, SC in 1999. She later joined Generostee Baptist Church. She was a faithful member until her health declined.
Bernice is survived by her son, Yancy B. (Sharreff) McAdams; grandson, Yancy C. McAdams; granddaughter, Nakia McAdams; two sisters, Claudine Peterson and Paula McAdams; and one brother, Roger McAdams. She was also loved by all of her family and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Stanley McAdams; and one sister, Bevelyn Underwood.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Generostee Baptist Church. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family is at the home of her niece, Venus Scott, 3913 Highway 24, Anderson, SC.
