Anne Lucille Mack, age 69, of National Health Care (NHC Anderson), entered eternal rest on Monday, May 2, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center. She was born in Anderson to the late Rochell and Betty Belton.
Anne was a graduate of Westside High School, Class of 1970. She worked at Ellenburg Nursing Home for many years before her health began to decline. In her spare time, Anne loved babysitting kids. She was a member of Mt. Olive Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was on the usher board and assistant to the late Bishop Gomelia Dennis.
Anne loved KFC chicken and sweet tea (in her words it wasn't sweet enough).
Anne leaves to cherish her memories, one son Jomo (Angie) Mattison of Belton, SC; one sister Rosalyn Belton of Anderson, SC; two grandchildren Darius Mattison and Demetre' Mattison; one nephew Steve Belton; one niece Toccara Belton; one great niece, Antanisha Morrison, two great nephews, AJ Belton and Mason Jant; two great great nephews Kingg Belton and Prince Gaines; and a host of family and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Marion Mack; adopted parents Johnny and Thomasina Mattison; grandparents Clyde and Lucille Keese; one sister Geronvene Belton; and one brother, Joel Keese.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be held on Thursday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
