Alma Dean Ware transitioned into her heavenly home on Saturday, May 17, 2025. She was born on March 25, 1943 in Anderson County to the late Georgia Estella Ware Earle and James Robinson.
Alma joined Trinity Baptist Church at an early age. She graduated from Westside High School. Later in life she joined Salem Baptist Church. She reunited with her home church within the past few years. She retired from Anderson County Health Department. Alma was very active in her community. She was a member of numerous organizations. She will forever be remembered for her dedication, determination and creative writing skills.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, two sisters, Ethelrene Earle of Anderson, SC and Etrulia (Booker) Thompson of Illinois; her long time friend, Jesse Browning; loving nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her only beloved son, Jeffrey Mashon Browning; her parents; two brothers, William P. Ware and Leo Ware, Sr.; her grandmother, Eva Simmons.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Trinity Baptist Church. The interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. Public viewing on Friday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of her sister, Ethelrene Earle, 1323 Marne Street, Anderson, SC.
