Alice Ruth (Valentine) Elwin

Mrs. Alice Ruth Valentine Elwin was born in Abbeville County, South Carolina on May 10, 1948.  She passed away on February 3, 2025 at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.

She is survived by her daughter, Alissa Elwin; her son, Michael Valentine; four grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Harper and Margaret Thompson; and loving nieces, great nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Elwin; parents, James and Margaret Martin Valentine; one sister, Mildred Ryan; and two brothers, Benjamin James Brownlee and Larry Brownlee.

The family will accept visitations on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at 543 Murdock Road in Due West, SC 29639.
