Abigail Elaine (Underwood) Quarles

Abigail Elaine Quarles, 71, of 210 Range View Rd., Anderson, SC , passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022.

Elaine leaves to cherish her fond memories to her daughter, Youlanda Terry Garner; her son, Lindsey "Chop/Chopper" Terry; children from her 2nd marriage, Jerry (LaTasha) Quarles, Adrian Barton, Jacqueline Quarles and La'Vera Quarles Rainey (Donnie); grandchildren reared in the home, Demetrius (Shanice) Quarles and Keisha Quarles; sisters, E. Judy Underwood Wilson and Kim Underwood; brothers, Lawrence "Lonnie" Underwood and James Anthony Underwood; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and freinds.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Hazell Quarles; parents, James Underwood and Irene Jones Underwood McDowell; and brothers, Shelton and Dennis Underwood.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at King David Baptist Church.  The interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Public viewing will be held on Saturday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
