William Valentine Obituary
Mr. William T. Valentine, 68, of 107 Sedgefield Court in Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Rainey Hospice House.
William attended Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass. He was an United States Army Veteran and retired from the National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Jannie Simpson Valentine; two stepdaughters, Deborah Mae Grate and Kimberly Simpson Wilson; one stepson, Stanley Lewis; four step-grandchildren; four sisters, Rev. Mary L. Johnson, Bernice Valentine-Watt, Linda Valentine-Cobb, and Dorothy Valentine-Savinda; and five brothers, James Wallace Valentine, Howard Valentine, Robert Valentine, Melvin Valentine, and Leroy "Lee" Valentine.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lula Mae Martin Valentine and his daughter, LaToya Nicole Valentine.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. The interment will follow at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
