Osmond Stephens Obituary

Osmond Louis Stephens, of Jamaica, NY, 73, husband of Curren N. Scott Stephens of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the St. Albans Assistant Living Nursing Home.

He was born on November 9, 1945 in New Orleans, LA to the late William Stephens and Rose C. Schello. He attended Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, NY and was U.S. Veteran. He was a member of St. Peter Claver Church, Brooklyn, NY.

He is survived by his wife, Curren Stephens; daughter, Curren Meko Stephens Groves (Jerica) and two grandchildren, Nazadia A. Stephens and Ezekiel L. Groves. He was the last of his immediate family.

Funeral services will be held at the J. Foster Phillips Funeral Homes, 179-24 Linden Blvd., Jamaica, NY 11434. Burial will be in the Veterans Cemetery there in New York.
