John Tillie Obituary
Mr. John Henry “Pick” Tillie, 76, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Hospice of the Upstate/Rainey Hospice House.
He is survived by his wife, Kelly Jeneen Lee-Tillie; daughters, Monica “Gina” Banks, Laura “Sistah” Banks Gates, and Vendetta Shareece Lee; sons, Kevin Telley, Charles Telley, Daniel Telley, James “Pie” Telley, and Anthony Lee; godson, Lane Patterson; one sister, Judy "Sue" Johnson; one brother, Charles Tilley; eighteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hurbert Tilley and Johnnie Mae Ware Tilley; his second wife, Mary McCoy Tilley; one brother, Bobby Tilley; one brother-in-law, Matthew Johnson; and one nephew, Stanley Johnson.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Asbury Memorial Baptist Church. The interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family is at the home of his sister, Judy Johnson, 601 Leon Drive Anderson, SC 29621.
