John Henry Jones

Mr. John Henry Jones, 69, of 348 Winston Street in Pendleton, SC, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church and an Army Veteran.

John will be missed by his daughters, Dawn Nicole Jones-Thompson of Connecticut, Latrice Lowman of Manhattan, NY, Erica Steger of Maryland, and Hubertine Jones-McFadden of Brooklyn, NY; sons, Ronnie Lee Cobb and Brad Jones of Columbia, SC; sisters, Lenora Webb, Janet Thompson, Goldie (Ben) Benjamin all of Pendleton, SC, Carrie Bell Johnson, and Carrie (William) Walker of Townville, SC; brothers, James (Tiffaney) Jones of Anderson SC and Melvin Jones of Pendleton, SC; one god-daughter, Gloria Wilder Lewis; and a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Hubertine Jones and father, Henry Randolph; two brothers, Bobby  and Sheffield Jones; one sister, Betty Ann Jones; and one son, John Henry Junior McFadden.

The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2018 at New Prospect Baptist Church in Townville, SC.  The interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home, 348 Winston Street Pendleton, SC 29670.
