Mr. Bradley J. Calhoun, 81, of 1606 Sexton Gin Road, Starr, S.C., departed the life on May 18, 2019 at his home.
He was born on December 25, 1937 to the late Robert Hall Calhoun and Mary Bell Brown Calhoun. Bradley was married to T. Ann Jones Calhoun and was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
He attended McCormick County Public Schools and retired from Owens-Corning Fiberglas after 25 years of service. Bradley loved to bowl and sing.
Bradley is survived by his wife, T. Ann Jones Calhoun; six daughters, Cynthia (Micheal) Brown, Janete Calhoun, Pastor Janice (Walter) Belle, Darlene Brown, Alice B. (Thomas) McCullough, and Corrie A. Martin; four sons, Jack Dunn, William Stacy Jones, Andre (Roselee) Martin, and Madrell Hatten; one sister, Min. Mary Avery; one brother, Theodore Calhoun; twenty grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Fannie Guellibaux, Rose C. Middleton, Fannie C. Baker, and Rose Lee Searles; four brothers, Peter Calhoun, Robert Calhoun, George M. Calhoun, and James Calhoun; one grandson; and two great-granddaughters.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Iva, SC. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family is at the home, 1606 Sexton Gin Road Starr, SC.
