Mr. Quentin Ramon Oliver, 34, of 134 Ann Road in Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018.
Quentin graduated from JL Mann High School, where he was part of the "Wrecking Crew" and member of the 2001 Peach Blossom Football Champions. He was awarded the Greenville Touchdown Club's 2001 Play of the Week for his 60 yard game-winning touchdown run against Fairfield Central in the playoffs-as defensive lineman.
Quentin attended Fork Union Military Academy, and then earned a scholarship to Blinn College in Brenham, TX. He transferred to Fort Scott College in Kansas, where he received his Associates Degree. From there, he earned a scholarship to Jacksonville State in Alabama. Quentin coached in various youth leagues and loved working with kids.
Quentin is survived by his mother, Ava Oliver (Kim) Wall; father, Kenneth Flowers; sisters, Kahlia Oliver, Jasmine Cobb, and Brittany Flowers; brothers, Rashad Oliver, Justin Cobb, and Kenny Flowers Jr.; his grandmother, Margaret Edwards; father and mother, Charlie and April Dunn and sister, Lucy Dunn; uncle, Gregory Oliver; aunts, Olsey (Gilbert) Espinosa, Erica (Robert) Marion, Joslin (Andy) Malone and Helen Patterson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Quentin collected family everywhere he went.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at University Baptist Church 411 Pendleton Road, Clemson, SC. The interment will follow at Memory Gardens Clemson, SC.
