Ms. Lucia Mae “Fat” Byrd, 71, of 707 Lafayette Street in Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House. 

She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church and retired from Kroger Bakery.

She is survived by her two sons, Rodney Byrd of Greer, SC and Bryant Warnick of Austell, GA; one grandchild; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Emma Chavis of Raleigh, NC and Lorraine Gaines of Lithonia, GA; and one aunt Catherine (Eugene) Boston of Anderson, SC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Virgie Fuller Byrd; one sister, Gladys Byrd Brinson; and one brother, Johnnie Byrd, Jr.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017 at St. Paul Baptist Church.

The family is at the home, 707 Lafayette Street Anderson, SC 29624.
