Mr. Lieutenant Rice, 76, of 1232 Ramona Drive in Belton, SC, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela Hargro of Atlanta, GA; son, Mark Rice of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Annie Lee Williams; one brother, Leroy Rice; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Lou Ware Rice; parents, Theo and Recie Jackson Rice; three sisters, Helen Rice Williams, Majorie Rice Cowans, and Annabell Morris; and four brothers, Clarence Rice, Charlie Rice, Howard Rice, and Nathaniel Ware.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Welfare Baptist Church.  The interment will follow at New Silverbrook Cemetery.

The family is at the home, 1232 Ramona Drive Belton, SC 29627.
