Lawrence Galloway Obituary
Mr. Lawrence "Gus" Galloway, 82, of 107 Meadow Acres in Belton, SC, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and a member of Anderson Masonic Lodge #207. He retired from Michelin Tire Company and was a United States Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Cora Lee Bray Johnson Galloway; two sons, Lawrence S. Galloway and Larry Cheatham; one step-daughter, Debbie Johnson; step-daughter-in-law, Sandra Scott Johnson; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Birdie L. Fridie; one brother, James L. Galloway; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Annie Galloway; parents, Simmie and Birdie Lee Norris Galloway; step-son, Phil Johnson; one sister, Blanche Galloway; and one brother, Simmie Galloway, Jr.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Shiloh Baptist Church. The interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
The family is at the home, 107 Meadow Acres Belton, SC 29627.
