Mr. Herman R. Smith, 73, of 402-B Evans Street in Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at his home.

He was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.   Herman graduated from Morris College with a Bachelor's of Art Degree and retired from Kroger Bakery as a Manager.

He is survived by his wife, Daisy E. Wardlaw Smith; daughter, Kizzy R. Smith of Simpsonville, SC; son, Kevin M. Wardlaw Smith of Anderson, SC; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Cal Smith, Jr. and Ricky Scott.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Prudence Geer Young and Cal Smith, Sr. and one son, Christopher F. "Fuji" Lindsey. 

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.
