Emmette Johnson Obituary
Mr. Emmette Bernard "E.B." Johnson, 54, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 in Charlotte, NC. He was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC and a former member of Mt. Carmel CME Church in Anderson, SC. Officer Johnson retired after 30 years of service from the Charlotte Police Department and was an United States Army Veteran.
He is survived by his three sisters, Patricia Johnson, Annette Burrell, and Phyllis Johnson; one brother, Willie Oneal Johnson; a niece, Tracie Johnson; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Emma Brown Johnson.
The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2018 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. The entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
