Ms. Deirdra Charrelle Jackson, 29, of 104 Wildwood Drive in Greer, SC, passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 at Greenville Memorial.  She was born in Greenwood, South Carolina on January 14, 1988.  Deirdra was a member of Mt. Lebanon A.M.E. Church and a graduate of Ware Shoals High School class of 2006.

Deirdra was well loved and liked by her family, friends, co-workers and those she met in passing. “She never met a stranger.”  She was a passionate reader and loved writing; however, her true love was awarded to “All things Water”.  All her dreams were dreams of pools, rivers, lakes, and oceans.  She was known for her free spirit and her beautiful smile.

She is survived by her precious little daughter, Olivia Cheyenne Scott; her fiancé, Joseph Thomas Scott; her mother Darlene Jackson, little brother Keith Rice and sister Katoyia Jackson, all of the home.  Her father, James “J.J." (Pam) Jackson, Hodges SC; sisters, Shonquetta Jackson, Greer SC, Shania Jackson, Hodges SC; two brothers, Romarius Smith, Greenwood SC and Demarius Smith, Clemson SC; her maternal grandparents, John and Lydia Fuller of Ware Shoals SC; paternal grandmother, Lila (the late Leroy) Jackson of Hodges SC.  She also leaves to cherish her memories two very special people, Bridgette Suber (My FeFe, cousin, and best friend), Anderson SC; and Jamal Wideman (My Alter Ego), Winter Haven, Florida.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2017 in the Ollie Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Sunday at the funeral home from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

The family will be at the home, 104 Wildwood Drive Greer, SC, until Friday.  After Friday, the family will be at the home of her aunt, Carrie (Ervin) Bryson, 94 Green Acres Drive Ware Shoals, SC.
