Mr. Clarence Burriss, Jr., 63, of 511 Cathcart Drive in Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Ann Prince Burriss; three sons, Kerry Neal Dawson, Cedric Dawson, and Artagus Crawford; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; step-mother, Pearl E. Burriss; eight sisters, Joyce Burriss (Kenny) Ashford, Brenda Sims (Terry) Ankard, Patricia Burriss all of Baltimore, MD, Earline Burriss (Craig) Smith, Pauline Burriss (Deron) Frye both of Atlanta, GA, Clarissa Burriss, Sandra Brawner, and Barbara Brawner Lomax all of Anderson, SC; five brothers, Melvin (Addie) Burriss of Anderson, SC, Ricky (Katherine) Burriss of Greenville, SC, Marvin (Kristie) Johnson of Georgia, Michael Burriss, and Eugene Burriss both of Baltimore, MD; Michael Jenkins and Daquan Jenkins (reared in the home); and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Burriss, Sr. and Mary Ann Cheatum Burriss; step-son, Michael "Jake" Prince; three sisters, Carolyn Burriss, Barbara Burriss, and Hannah Jackson; and one brother, Wayne Burriss.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  The interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
