Christine Williams Obituary
Mrs. Christine Tate Williams, 83, of 824 Winston Drive in Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018.
She is survived by her one daughter, Patricia (Rufus) Gambrell; four sons, James T. Cowan, Augustus Cowan, James L. (Emma) Williams, and Jimmy Williams; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; six sisters, Geraldine Davis, Mary Lee (Marcell) Fant, Betty J. Thompson, Jessie Mae Tate, Ruby Nell (Willie Frank) Dennis, and Kathleen (Edward) Oliver; two brothers, Larkin (Bernice) Tate and George (Rose) Henry Tate; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Williams; and parents, Scott and Gracie Lou Clark Tate.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. The interment will be held Friday morning at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Rufus Gambrell, 324 Hillcrest Circle Anderson, SC 29624.
