The name is still relatively new, but the personnel behind the name has served Anderson and surrounding areas with many years of combined funeral service experience. It is the names and faces of our licensed, competent, and professional funeral directors and embalmers you have come to trust and depend upon during the loss of a loved one. It is the caring and compassion for the bereaved family that the funeral directors and staff of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home are committed to continuing for years to come. 

 Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home is located at 1212 South Main Street in Anderson, South Carolina.  Our establishment is located in the city zone, conveniently located 4 blocks south of the Courthouse located in downtown Anderson.  Our funeral home is spacious, fully handicap accessible, and beautifully decorated to provide comfort during your family’s time of need. We offer private viewing rooms, a spacious chapel (seats 300), a clergy room, and ample parking. 

Our staff includes full time funeral directors and embalmers (Marcus D. Brown, SC#2204 and Trish Mattress SC#2471).   We also have several part-time assistants, clergy, musicians, and cosmetologists on staff.
